Livestock producers could be facing a shortage of home-grown forage this winter – so how can they plan for the best quality ration without blowing the budget?
Farmers (and journalists) are invited to a special meeting on 4 September to learn more about the outlook for the raw material markets this winter, as well as creating balanced diets for beef, sheep and dairy animals.
Join Wynnstay for a tour of its unique blending facility – Rhosfawr, in Pwllheli, where you can hear from an expert team of speakers:
- Bryn Hughes – looking ahead at winter diets for sheep and beef
- Beth Parry – getting dairy blends correct for winter
- Carwyn Worthington – what’s the outlook for the raw materials market?
- Bronwen Pihlwret from QLF – best use of liquid feeds.
There will be an opportunity to speak to specialists about individual requirements, as well as time to catch up with fellow farmers over refreshments.
The evening will commence at 5:30pm, and finish at 8pm.
